Now that am through with all these college stuff and graduation date awaits as there's some surety of it being held in June.
Meanwhile, as I ready myself for the D - day, I wanna travel since am tired of sitting to watch people and be watched in return. I wanna go places have never had the chance to go and to go to some memorable places I can think of.
First I will begin by going to see my aunt and the family to see what life after retirement feels, to eat one more good meal where everyone surrounds the table and happily feast on the food before hand and then I want to sit on the coach alone and watch the TV till I fall asleep.
Then I want to journey on further before making a call to my favorite uncle and set a rendezvous. As I tread on past Kadika, I wanna take a minute or two to have the pleasure of embracing the peace and tranquility that's brought by trees uphill. Still I want to journey on and go straight to my elder brother whom I haven't seen for quite sometime and take sips of wine as we discuss family matters of how big should the size of parental home to be built be among others. And have three or four nights of sleep at his place.
I wouldn't call it a journey without a taste of Mombasa climate let alone the welcoming culture and the pleasure at the beaches I once had. Well, a meeting with my sweetest cousin as she takes my baggage with a welcoming smile will be with no doubt it's from the heart.
The dinners, some zilizopendwa at a nearby restaurant and a night of bango in southcoast, Likoni.
As if that isn't enough I yearn to receive a text, sorry! Not just a text, a heartfelt text which reads, "what do you wanna eat for supper?
Then I will smile and know that am finally home.
